  METHODOLOGY
The Australian Law Awards 2006 are conducted using a self-nomination submission-based methodology. Submissions are made online using a predetermined form (which will ensure ease of comparison for the judges).

Each Award category will have 4 criteria which nominees are required to address section by section, There is also an ‘Additional relevant information’ section in which nominees can include any data not already covered as to why they should win that award category.

Nominees are encouraged to read the criteria carefully and to frame their submissions accordingly.

Each of these 5 sections – 4 criteria plus ‘Additional relevant information – can be up to 400 words in length, with the total submission no longer than 2,000 words in length. Judges can allocate up to 20 points per section, with 100 points being the highest possible score.
